Obsydian: Raw Expressions is 50 presets for Newfangled Audio Generate built around exposed tone and direct performance response.
The palette moves from acoustic-like instrument emulations and tactile keys to synthetic leads, basses, experimental gestures, and complex aural structures. Delay, reverb, chorus, and other spatial processing stay restrained, allowing the raw oscillator character and expressive modulation to remain present.
Each preset is designed to respond through MPE and conventional performance controls. Pressure, slide, velocity, modulation, and expression turn the sounds into material that can be shaped in real time rather than static patches that only occupy a mix.
Raw Expressions works independently and also completes the first three-part Obsydian arc alongside Dark Energy and Motion Arps.
